Mark as Useful Said they could see that I had a credit card with them with a $10,000 balance. I told them I didn't have a credit card with American Financial. They said "Oh" and hung up. They have called several times and each time they tell me a different company name that they are with.

Mark as Useful Called to tell me that a court case involving a 10 year old credit card debt was going to be filed against me. I contacted them and they wanted to set up a payment plan with me. I refused to give them any info reguarding my checking account # or debit card #. They then told me they would put ay supposed acct # on hold for 24 hours just in case I was able to come up with any money concerning this issue. I have no intention of contacting these people ever again as I feel this is just a scam to get money from me.
